Dr. Vindhya is a healthcare professional with more than 30 years of clinical experience, with extensive academic and professional training in Ayurveda, Shalya Tantra, Modern Medicine, Internal Medicine, Clinical Research, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, and Healthcare Management.
She completed her M.D. (Doctor of Medicine) from AMA School of Medicine (AMASOM), Philippines, a graduate medical qualification at the MBBS level in India. She completed her B.A.M.S. from Government Anantha Laxmi Ayurvedic Medical College and has practised Ayurveda ever since. She went on to complete her M.D. in Shalya Tantra from the National Institute of Ayurveda (Jaipur), followed by a Ph.D. in Shalya Tantra from Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan Rajsthan Ayurved University, developing specialized expertise in Ayurvedic surgical sciences and anorectal disorders. She served in the Government sector for more than 20 years before completing her qualification in Modern Medicine and obtaining registration with the Telangana State Medical Council (TSMC).
She holds special clinical expertise in anorectal conditions and minor surgical care, including haemorrhoids (piles), fissure-in-ano and fistula-in-ano — an Allopathy Medicine graduate with an M.D. and Ph.D. in Shalya Tantra (Ayurvedic Medicine).
